Die Legende von Ochi

The farmer´s girl Yuri runs away from home and discovers a mysterious Ochi on an idyllic island called Carpathia. These bluish creatures with their distinctive, Yoda-like ears are uncanny to the island´s inhabitants. Nevertheless, the girl manages to befriend a younger and more innocent Ochi, who appears to have been abandoned by its parents. As the relationship between Yuri and the Ochi grows closer, it gradually becomes clear why the islanders fear these beings and what potential threat they might pose.
