Almost thirty years have passed since the dangerous Rage Virus escaped from a biological weapons lab and mercilessly plagued the world. Although the area has been under strict quarantine since then, some survivors have found ways to adapt amidst the still-roaming infected. A small group found refuge on a remote island, which is connected to the mainland only by a heavily guarded bridge. But when a member of the community, Jamie, along with his son Spike, leaves the island to undertake a risky mission on the mainland, he is confronted with a reality that no one had foreseen. Besides the ordinary infected, he also encounters other survivors who have changed in unexpected and terrifying ways. Humanity still faces a long, rocky, and dangerous road ahead...
